Delivery and Shipping

Add some general information about your delivery and shipping policies.

The VAS T-Style Dipole, also known as the "True Dipole," is the lightest dipole antenna in the world for the Tiny Whoop. Weighing in at  0.3 grams, this antenna has a slightly higher gain (2.2dbi) than the usual Tiny Whoop dipole and is more effecient - 98.7 percent as opposed to the 91-92 percent efficiency of the standard dipole, which translates to more range. Because of the short feed line this antenna is intrinsically balanced. Leave it to Video Aerial Systems to continue improving Tiny Whoop antenna equipment!!

We give you lots of coaxial length to work with on this antenna, but to get weight down, you'll have to trim it nice and tight, like all TW video antennas should be. Here's a video showing how I make the easy installation!

Caution! Do not cut this antenna too short - leave at least 8mm length to be sure the tip of the antenna doesn't get too hot while soldering this to your vtx.

Here are some more photos and instruction if you prefer:

Here's how:

First, de-solder the current antenna from the vtx. Take a look at how it's held on in three places - there are two outside connections which are the ground (soldered to the same pad on either side) and there is a single lower connection.

Now we'll make the upgrade antenna look like that. First cut your antenna about this short. If you want a little room to make mistakes, go a couple millimeters longer.

Gently remove the outermost translucent material to expose the woven ground wire.

Once the outermost translucent layer is removed, slowley pull apart the woven ground wire and twist it into the two outside connections. As you'll see these will need to be a bit shorter than the central wire. Remove a bit of the white insulation between the core wire and the woven ground wire so that it looks like this.

Now just solder the central wire to the lower pad and the two ground twists to the ground pad. Easy as pie!! Just make sure they're not touching in any place and you should be good.

A Message from Mr. Tiny Whoop

about Tariffs and Pricing

Hey everyone,

I’m speaking to you now both as a business owner and a member of the FPV family we've built together.

For almost ten years now, I’ve been doing everything I can to keep Tiny Whoop prices steady, even as costs started to rise. But with the newest wave of tariffs—more than doubling the cost of nearly every part we import from China—that fight has hit a wall.

Lots of you have already noticed some prices going up across the site. This isn’t a price hike to chase profit. It’s survival mode. Like everyone in the FPV industry right now, I’m facing a set of changes that hit fast and hard. Nearly everything we source from China now costs us more than double.

For an irresponsibly long time I ate the costs of the tariffs, but the math doesn’t work anymore without putting Tiny Whoop at serious risk.

So here’s what I want you to know:
Every price increase is a response to real, unavoidable costs.
Even with the price increases I’m taking a big hit.
When this pressure eases, I’ll roll back prices immediately.

If you have any questions or ideas it would mean a lot to hear from you!

We’re still shipping every day, still guaranteeing satisfaction on all orders. But this is the toughest moment Tiny Whoop has faced in nearly a decade.

Through all of this, my mission hasn’t changed. I’m still committed to helping people experience the gift of flight, to keeping TinyWhoop.com on the leading edge of innovation, and to making sure the magic of Tiny Whoop doesn’t get swallowed up by politics and global economics.

If you’ve been a part of this ride in any way, I am so, so grateful! Thank you for supporting Tiny Whoop, thank you for supporting my family, and thank you for being a part of this amazing community!
