Each 702 motor weighs approximately 1.3868g with wires, and 1.2219g without wires. Weighing the motors alone, this motor is lighter than all other currently available brushless 702 motors (including the ultralight NBD 30K motors and the famously-light Betafpv 702SE motors). The result is a jump in your aircraft's power to weight ratio.

Reducing the weight farthest from the CG (center of gravity) also makes changes to the aircraft's attitude easier, leading to less finicky PID tunes and less thrust necessary to quickly adjust your aircrafts position or orientation.

Due to a lighter bell swinging less rotational mass, Project Topspin motors reach a slightly higher maximum thrust, and can achieve this higher thrust more quickly.
